Yes, Penn is need-blind for citizens and permanent residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico.

And yes, one essay (your choice from several prompts) in the Common App, and one essay in the Penn Supplement (plus an additional essay if you’re applying to one of the coordinated dual-degree or special programs).

^^Just out of curiosity, what do you want to do after Wharton? If you’re planning on going to something lucrative like finance, paying the full price of Wharton would be a pretty wise investment. If you’re planning on doing something riskier like entrepreneurship, it might be better for you to go to a more affordable school.

@prowlings yes I am. Hope this clarifies things

If you’re talking to me, Im going for an MBA and masters in biomed eng. If I get in how can I possibly pay for it?

^Take out student loans if you don’t have the cash on hand. Also, what do you plan on doing career-wise after getting those degrees?

Business aspect of a company that has biomedical engineers. And cant I only take out max like 27,000 for all 4 years like through the stafford loan?

Is Penn generous with international students?
I’m an international students applying for aid, so do you think I should ED for Penn?

Yep. This is really happening, isn’t it?

Penn has been my dream school since freshman year. I can’t believe I’m finally going to apply to Penn CAS- I already wrote my essay but I really want to stand out for ED. What are your all’s basic stats?

Yeah I’ve wanted to go to Wharton for a few years now. They (the CC pundits) always said not to call a school with a <10% acceptance rate “the one,” but it’s too late for me. I’d be pretty upset for the rest of the day if I didn’t get in ED and nervous for the decisions to come.

Basic Stats:
2400, 4.0, ECs mainly in research and math/science with some other stuff like sports/Mock Trial/community service.

Guys, I have a question. If accepted ED to Penn, how strict are they about senior year grades (both 1st and 2nd semester)? Is it just don’t fail and you’re fine, or keep getting those straight A’s? lol

B’s are fine but I’ll prolly keep getting the straight As regardless of what college I get into cuz that’s just who I am… sigh

My basic stats:

SAT: 2210, Chem Subject: 790, Bio M Subject: 780, Math II: 770, UW GPA 4.0, ECs involve math/science/research, loads of community service (500+ hrs)/sports/Model UN

Applying to Penn CAS as a Biochemistry major.

I’m so nervous and praying that I have a chance in ED because most people who apply ED have much higher stats than I do… can the essay make a huge impact on your app?

Moderator’s note:

I have removed several posts.
