@pennhopeful22 even if you are both legacy and urm that’s probably still too low for wharton. but you never know! there’s still a decent chance for you 
what were your essays like?
Yes! I had my interview on Sunday. She reached out to me the night of ED deadline but i submitted my app a few weeks before that. The subject said [Penn} Alumni Interview Request
I’m thinking the release date will be December 8th at 3 PM, that seems like the trend for it to be the second friday for the last 2 years.
@ptvnicorn thanks for responding! I think my essays were really good. I have a rather unique story to tell about overcoming cancer in my family and how it changed me for the better and i think my why wharton supplement had a strong business theme.

What do you guys know about how much of an impact the interview has on admissions?
@tryingtodecide22 my interviewer told me that interviews usually have a very miniscule impact on admissions
Also, I feel like I was overly humble about a business I started in my application in a way that diminishes my accomplishments-- is there any way for me to communicate to the admissions office a more accurate depiction of my experience?

@tryingtodecide22 Not worth describing the business in further detail. It’d probably harm more than help, as it’ll annoy the adcoms. Besides, if you don’t get it, it won’t be because of a lack of explanation for just one activity.
I had my interview today; my interviewer was the Chief Marketing Officer of Grant Thornton! Pretty coincidental that my interviewer holds the position that I want to hold one day.
in MD, still did not receive interview notification. Anyone experiencing the same as me?

@collegereadyqurl this question has been asked like 10 times lol; it’s either December 8th or 15th (usually the second Friday of the month), the definite decision date will be known sometime in early December (December 2nd last year)
Also, don’t know if this happened to anyone else, but my interviewer was really bad… made me feel so uncomfortable wrote intensely while we were talking, made up his own really difficult questions… said some inappropriate things to me (I dressed nicely and conservatively and he made a joke about how I should probably dress “very differently” at parties if I want to meet guys) He just made Penn look really bad…
