@Igotmyionyou Penn admissions woyld be horrified if they knew about your interview. I just heard of a similarly bad one with a Dartmouth alum. You should definitely let Penn know what happened; that comment about how to dress is appalling. Even if you choose to wait until after you hear ED results , let Penn know so that interviewer can be removed from the volunteer list.
did anyone not get an interview yet?
@tooksattoday1 I havent gotten my Interview yet
im soo nervous guys, literally find out in 2-3 weeks :")
Just got home from my interview, it went so well!
Also, people hype up being an URM so much on here
My son just has his interview today. Said it went went well.
anyone applied for AI?
@Igotmyionyou I love your username hahaha are you hoping of getting into the MLS program?
Just got done with my interview. My interviewer was from the Huntsman class of 2001. It lasted about 30 mins, is that good?
Is a 36 superscore given the same weight as a 36 composite score from a single sitting?
@prodigy1 Not really, but it’s not a big difference.
I got an email today from an alumnus from the Huntsman program for an online interview. Excited and hopeful!
yoo penn looks pretty lit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVuMN2_p8ts&t=5s
This video also makes Penn look even more amazing. https://youtu.be/SZ1zXZJFmbc Good luck to everyone!!
I had my interview today! Interviewer was 10 minutes late and the interview itself lasted 20 minutes, but it was AMAZING–maybe the best interview I’ve had so far. Whole worlds better than the one I had for MIT, which lasted 50 minutes. None of those complicated and tricky questions, interviewer was very informative about his experience, and was overall worlds more interested in me and my activities than the one I had for MIT. The best 20-minute interview I’ve ever heard of and witnessed xD
@Igotmyionyou you definitely need to let penn know what happened!!! that is completely unfair; you have no idea if his interview evaluation is even usable with the way he acted toward you. that is not okay and you should 100% contact the office of undergrad admissions and be like listen this guy was a complete weirdo
I recently participated at a quiz bowl competition where my team finished third overall and I placed top 10 individually. How should I report it to Penn? Does a list suffice?
Yes, thank you, I agree. I’m meeting with my school counselor to draft a letter with her tomorrow.
I had my interview a few days ago! Was really panicking but it went really well. The alumnus was incredibly friendly and wasnt even a tad bit intimidating. To all those prepping for interviews, just go through the basic questions and know why you want to go to Penn (which you could probably take from your essay). Stay calm, be cool and most importantly just speak your mind.
