Upenn housing reccomendation?

I am a little excited... but I was looking into the houses they have at Penn. I was accepted to Wharton ED. I really like Stouffer by the looks of it. I don't really want to go in the Quad or Hill. I am more of a social-on-my-own-terms person, plus I want dibs on the High Rises as an upperclassman. Stouffer has single rooms, which I like for studying purposes.

So, two questions:
1) which is the best house for my preferences
2) does Stouffer have private bathrooms? I just couldn't find anything on it.

I looked at the Penn website, but their info is limited. I wanna hear what you guys have to say. :)

Stouffer is pretty close-knit and students there tend to stick together a lot more than those at the other houses, so know that if you start there you may find it hard to leave for the high rises. That being said, if you don’t care about having too many people around you, each high rise has about 50 freshmen every year, so you may be able to start there right away and meet a few (but not too many) people if that’s your sort of thing.

yeah I wouldn’t mind getting attached to Stouffer either, because I hear great things about Mayer hall.

But if I were to choose a high rise, which one has the most privacy for a freshman. Like I said, I would rather have it quiet for studying, but I still want some sort of social experience. Like probably not a house where everyone just keeps to themselves.

honestly, unless you are totally antisocial, dont actively look for a “quiet,” peaceful dorm. i was looking for a totally fun, social, typical college atmosphere so i chose the quad, and my hall is totally silent and the opposite of what i expected. maybe some parts of the quad are different, but honestly most of the time my hall is actually quieter than the library. you may think you want that, but trust me it isnt so fun.

bit isn’t Stouffer/Stouffer a social and quiet building. I am extremely interested in it. Everyone I hear about in Stouffer are happy in their own social groups. How would you guys rate Stouffer? How about Stouffer/Mayer?

bumppppppp
