I just got contacted for a UPenn interview and I wanted to know what to expect in terms of questions asked and how the interviews usually go.

My interview was very casual and enjoyable. We met at Starbucks on a Sunday morning. In regard to interview questions, I wasn’t asked anything out of the ordinary. He asked me what activities I was involved with at school and what classes I was taking this year. He also asked about a critical point in my educational experience that taught me something.

Most of the questions were about Penn, however, and why I am interested in it. Make sure you are at least somewhat familiar with the school and the programs it offers. You should also be prepared to point out the specific aspects of Penn that make it stand out from the other schools you applied to.

Good luck! Remember to stay relaxed and just enjoy it as a typical, everyday conversation.

My interview was casual as well. I also met my interviewer at Starbucks lol.

She asked my general questions about my interest and why I chose Penn as my top choice.

However, we spent most of the time discussing my fondness for studying history and New York City life.

It went really well! I wrote her a hand written note which she loved

I expected mine to be super formal since it was at a huge law firm in a big city but the interviewer was super casual and actually on his phone while interviewing. Weird interview experience.
