UPenn Nursing School RD Results

Has anyone heard from The Nursing School? Don't they usually release acceptances in February?

Yea they usually do. The thing is....I thought it was supposed to be February 19th but....it is now the 20th and my email account is still empty (shrugs shoulders) So what are your stats like for a nursing applicant like myself? I dont have great test scores but my gpa is decent and i do a lot of stuff so im hoping penn takes that into consideration.

Well I am the opposite of you...very good test scores and weaker gpa....I go to a very good school that doesn't rank or weight...and I have had a rigorous schedule. Love UPenn nursing and hoping we will hear soon!!!

awww, go figure, i've met my complete opposite on CC. But we do have one thing in common.....we heart NURSING :P. But on a serious not....we need to find out quick im gettin' really anxious.

It is an amazing nursing program. I wish I could find the stats for the school. I assume they are different than Wharton and the College of Arts and Science. Do you have a sense of what the SAT/ACT scores are or the acceptance rate?

How do you think the program compares to BC or Villanova or Georgetown ?

^def way better
i think except from u of washington in seattle, Penn has the best

Two differences I have identified on the GT vs UPenn, BC, Villanova comparison is the ability to be pre-med at GT nursing and the well developed major of international health at GT nursing. GT seems like it is a leader on these fronts. UPenn looks like it has first year clinical opportunities and very small classes. UPenn also looks like it is developing in global health initiatives.

gloabalhealthgirl, I know u applied to penn nursing but to starcrane and motherof2girls: did you guys apply this year??

i love on any nursing threads, i hear from CU4L91 and globalhealthgirl. =)))

yea i applied ED and will be a proud member of nursing school next year lol
good luck guys!
