yes. i thought it was an early rejection, haha. but yeah, the login is separate.

i thought i got in because of the white financial aid package, damn.

I haven't gotten a white envelope for financial aid forms. Should I be concerned? I'm pretty sure I submitted financial aid forms from online print-outs...did anyone else do this?

I haven't gotten a receipt :(

duobeef, there is a possibility that you didnt get finaid forms because you already submitted them.

tennis: have you called them?

I haven't gotten my login info and i got my blue card a week and a half ago - is it lost?

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to jump on the 'Transfer 2007 UPenn' bandwagon. Hopefully we can all join an Official ACCEPTED thread in a few weeks (which CAN'T come soon enough).

My Stats:
School: Loyola University Chicago
College GPA: 3.89, Interdisciplinary Honors Program: Pre-Law Concentration, French and International Studies
SATs: Verbal: 720, Writing: 780, Math: 680
Activities: Student Ambassador, Loyola Literacy Center Tutor, Pre-Law Society PR Chair, English Department Office Manager

I absolutely LOVE Penn and I am hoping every day to be accepted.

I am almost disheartened by the fact that I have my log-in information because now I feel the need to check it online all the time--and it is just taking forever for May to get here! The agony of waiting to hear all year is so different when you're already in college-anyone else feel this way?

Anyway: about the financial aid stuff: they send out an automatic sheet to all applicants concerning financial aid. If you have already sent all your stuff in, don't worry about it. clive, I don't think it will hurt you if they have to ask you to send something; their website states that they will give one notice of missing materials (I think that's just standard procedure).

So--how's everyone feeling? I am tweaking. I simply cannot wait for May. AH.

Pinkbubblegum: Same story for me! I called Penn Admissions and they said they mail the login out in batches and we can expect it in the next week or so!

jules congrats on joining the madness-collegeconfidential and your login updates for colleges will now become your obsession lol

Jimmy, I actually called them today and they told me not to worry unless I received an email notifying missing materials. As for the login information, they told me to expect a mail from Penn sometime next week.

so are you saying that if we get our blue card/login EARLY, then we are the FIRST batch? and hence we get our Decision EARLIEST (rolling)

I have the same question as Chanman....

But I guess its just more than a guess and if the decision is out by May 7th.. I doubt Penn is able to see our final grade??

flora, they won't see our (michigan) final grades

Now, school is over.. Without anything fun to do, the only thing left for me to check the decision page..constantly...

:S sick of it...

Hopefully we all hear some good news.. soon

Yo did you guys receive an email
"Thank you for your application for transfer admission to the University of Pennsylvania. In order to complete your file, we are in need of the following materials from you that are checked/ticked below with an "X" next to the item."

So i have nothing to submit right? if there's nothing else in the email

Hey guys,

I too am joining you all. I cannot wait to hear and after my 1000th paranoid Google search about "Transferring to Penn" I found you all.

My Stats:
School: Penn State (transferring to be a soph in Fall 2007)
HS GPA: 3.5
College GPA: 3.83, Mid-Sem: 4.0
Major: Premedicine/Biology
HS EC: A bunch of varsity sports and clubs, you all can imagine.
Bio Research Internship at PennMed during winter break (I am from phila.) this year and will continue in May for entire summer.
Inorganic Chem Research for Spring 07 Sem.

I wish they would just tell us now. I cannot concentrate on my finals :).
P.S. I have a twin brother who is a frosh UPenn right now. Could that help me at all?

I dont think your bro will help you out at all. They only consider parents in legacy cases. That would be sweet if you guys went to the same school though!

I got that email too... but when i scrolled down the email i realized i didnt send in my official transcript (i thought it was being sent in the deans report, apparantly not). I dont think youd get that email unless you had forgotton something...

Im obsessed as well with going... i put in my essay basically how excited i feel whenever im on the campus and how i love the school

im so tired about stressing about college... thats so hs..

the decision is out in may 7th???

As I am looking over these posts, I can't help but feel a sense of comraderie with everyone. This is absolutely ABSURD. I want to go to Penn so badly--it is borderline an obession, what with me constantly checking my online decision like crazy. I feel so worked up about it, like when I was a senior in high school, waiting to hear from NYU. I remember that day when the big envelope came, and I thought my dreams had come true--until the school that costs 50K only gave me 15K in financial aid--and even though things have worked out for me at Loyola, Penn has become the DREAM. I just want it so much. I hope we all get it.

Hey Jules, I think you're the first student from Loyola I've seen on CC. Good luck on Penn! Are you a sophomore?
