Upenn or free

I was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania -College of Arts and Science 2 years ago when I was a senior in High School. I would of majored in Economics (closest to business). I choose University of Delaware instead because I was accepted into their business school and had a full scholarship(while CA&S at Penn). I'm majoring in accounting. I often feel great regret. I almost have a perfect GPA here at UDel and feel kind of out of place in my classes. Did I make a bad decision? UPenn would not of been free. People tell me financially I'm better off at UDel.

no regrets now buddy. You can't look back at those kinds of decisions and think about the end result because frankly, it doesn't matter. You are where you are because you made that decision and you can only look to the future. UPenn doesn't guarantee anyone a career. Ambition, talent, and personality do.

Don't ever have any regrets about something like that. It will all work out in the end because if you had the ambition to become successful at UPenn, you will do the same at UDel.

Although it would help if you told us how much Penn would have cost you, I think you did well. UDel's reputation is pretty good, and you seem to have a 3.9+ GPA. If you're looking to land a good job, go to grad/law school, you pretty much seem set.

If you were turning down Wharton, that would be a different story...but you're not.

If you're going into public accounting, school prestige is not really that important anyway. They'll just be impressed by your grades. Is that what you're going for? I'm sure you'll have a good resume with good EC's and internships or work. I think you can make yourself appear like a student of ivy league caliber. The one thing that might hold you back is recruiting. I'm not sure if many companies like to recruit there. But since you're probably a motivated student, you can take initiative. I don't think you should have any regrets. Since you are doing well right now in undergrad, you can try to go to grad school.

Yes, what you said is correct. Also, I feel a little out of place in my classes. I have to intentionally limit myself from asking too many questions in class. However, If I think logically about my decision I’m fine. When I start to think emotionally, I become frustrated. It makes me cringe a little when I see UPenn ranked #1 or #2 in the rankings. But as you said, it is too late now. A few months ago I got in the mail an invitation to join the Penn Club in Manhattan. Stuff like than stinks. But oh well.
