@wagncy I guess so. Just checked the Checklist & Deadlines page of the Penn Admissions website. There they say that based on availability, interviews for RD applicants will take place between December and Early March. I think they have changed that, because I remember that it said February last time I was on this page. But maybe I just don’t remember it right. Nevertheless, I think there is still hope that you will be contacted if they interview till the beginning of March.
In the beginning of March, won’t they have read our applications already? Or will they skip over them seeing we haven’t had an interview?
@businessg101 In fact, I have no idea. I was really surprised to read it on their website. Good theory, though.
@anotherdude Relating to your earlier query about whether M and T admits all receive likely letters, I hope not! I applied to M and T, and I can assure you that my application is far from strong enough to warrant a likely letter (or, I suppose, M and T admission!). Did you apply to M and T?
@aBitOfLuck Yeah, I have applied to M&T. I feel that it’s the perfect fit for me. But as an international + ORM, I think that the odds of me getting in are way too low :-p
@anotherdude lol chinese or indian?
@McKilla99 Indian :-p
@anotherdude Same here :’) I didn’t even bother applying to the Fischer program - I applied to only SEAS. Hopefully 2320 on the SAT will show admissions that I’m much smarter than a guy who got 72% in 11th.
Best of luck @McKilla99 ! I hope you get in
@anotherdude the feeling’s mutual man
Does anyone know if its okay for me to email an admissions officer and update my application? I recently won some awards that relates to my major but I feel like I might be bothering them since they’re all so busy and probably get thousands of emails.
Hi guys! Is your Penn applicant portal up to date for financial aid documents? I submitted all my stuff online about a week and a half ago, and it still doesn’t say that I’ve turned in my PFAS, tax returns, etc. From what it says on the portal, it sounds like it should only take up to 48 hours for Penn to process all the documents.
Based on previous years’ patterns, when do you predict decisions will be out? Any other big schools (i.e. Harvard, Cornell, Duke, Chicago, Washu)?
Here are last years notifications…

I haven’t gotten an interview yet still. Anyone else in this situation ? Upset…
Same @McKilla99 I have lowish grades but a high SAT too
I just got an interview email today (and I live in NYC), so I guess they’re still sending out requests!
@saphys fingers crossed!! I’ll let you know if I end up getting it
@Sal3602 same… I also haven’t submitted any of the financial aid information because my parents just started filing their taxes this week… Does anybody know the answer?
@wagncy good luck! Hope you’ll get one.
