@nodaysoff97
I suggest simply:
“Wharton Class of 2020”
Wtfc?
@IfnousWHO, are you in Wharton, CAS or LSM?
@J2H239
I am in CAS
However I am PLME bound.
@IfnousWHO, S got in UPenn LSM and PLME, and has not yet decided which he will attend.
@J2H239
They are both great opportunities but uniquely different. If you consider MD being the upmost important goal (the only conceivable path to core/true happiness… “your calling”) then there is no safest path than PLME. If on the other hand you consider management and or business as alternate paths that would make you happy even at the higher risks of not ever becoming an MD then go for LMS.
Personally I am not interested in the management or business side. I am 100% focused on a lifetime of SERVICE and HEALTH thus PLME.
Congrats on both. Do let me know if you decide on PLME as we will definitely meet.
@IfnousWHO, will do after his decisions.
^ I think this is very good advice.
If getting a medical education is a firm commitment and getting one with a humanistic background is a strong priority, then it’s hard to beat PLME as an integrated program. But if combining business with biomedical science is the focus (with or without medical school down the road), then LSM is ideal. It all depends on the student’s focus and priorities.
Hi!
Has anyone received their acceptance packages yet?. I’m an international student and I’m wondering when I can expect to receive the package. Thanks
@ambitious96 Yes, received it today (USA)
@IfnousWHO .Thanks for the reply. May I ask what was in it? Such as housing information or any “goodies” lol.
@ambitious96 no goodies haha… just a couple flyers about Quaker days and housing
@ambitious96 I received mine yesterday and Im an international. Its just the letters in there. No goodies unfortunately
Thanks, what about a financial aid letter?
I received my aid the day decisions came out but im wondering if there’s an official letter that I can upload to ISSS
@lauraazumah
Have you started your request for the I-20 form yet?
@ambitious96
The package included the admission letter(s) print and info on Quaker days. It retreated that Penn FA package does not include loans making it possible for students to graduate debt free and that FA offer can be viewed at portal but also will be sent via postal in a few days.
@IfnousWHO
OK thanks…I guess I’ll have to wait for the Offer to upload it to ipenn
