UPenn, Umich, Rice...?

I’ve been accepted at five schools for Electrical Engineering:

Georgia Institute of Technology
University of Pennsylvania
Univeristy of Illinois - Urbana Champaign
University of Michigan
Rice University.

I’ll have to pay out-of-state tution for all of them, and can’t really decide which one will be the best. Any advice?

whats your preference for location? town size?

Strong EE program and good housing & food.

here's the link to the usnews ranking of engineering grad schools:

As for housing/food, i've visited UPenn, UIUC, and UMichgan. UPenn has by far the best campus and student facilities.

umich and UIUC suburban good engineeing

For well rounded engineering : penn

If it were me, I would choose UPenn.

Why? Because it's UPenn. ;)

But seriously, I have a friend who goes to school there for engineering, and he really enjoys it.

Sorry I can't contribute anything more usefull than that... But I won't be visiting campus until this summer, so I can't exactly offer up a great opinion.

Good luck! :)

c'mon now.. upenn all the way!
