<p>Maybe it's just because I'm from Texas....</p>
<p>upenn is known esp. for anything business related (famous wharton) and also very good in sciences (esp. pre-med, it also has a top 5 med school)</p>
<p>but in general, it is one of the better ivy leagues (just under or at par with columbia, and those two are right under HYP) so it is very famous</p>
