Upitt or Northeastern or SUNY Buaffalo for Ms in Industrial Engineering ?

Personally, I think all are equal at least in rankings. My son went to UB for undergrad (mechanical and aerospace) and his GF got a BS in Industrial. They have a great Engineering department. I would measure cost. Are you doing the online program and working (though at UB at least for MS in ME you have to take classes on campus as well.) Son is also applying for MS programs now. He will continue to work and take online program exclusively, There is rankings for those as well. He is only applying to programs that give you the exact fegree as if you were on campus and all classes are streamed. You can google the USWNR rankings for MS engineering. If you are relocating, in the case of these three schools, I would go to the least expensive. Buffalo (really in Amherst a nd not Buffalo) has less expensive housing and as you know, Boston, the most expensive housing/food etc. Boston, then Pitt and then Amherst for most exciting towns. :)

You may want to repost under “Graduate School” you can access from Discussion Home page. You may get some more knowledgeable people regarding the Masters Program. The problem I see is students/parents tend to know their own school and without going to each school mentioned it is hard to compare. Are you instate for PA or NY?
