<p>How can I upload a photo to the Common App? One of my schools wants a photo, and I'm already annoying the admissions lady enough (I think she's the <em>only</em> one there...). Anyway, it can only be uploadd as a .pdf, .txt, .doc, etc....I can get it onto a PDF, but of course it's 1.8MB no matter how big the picture or paper size is...Is there anything I can do about this?</p>
<p>Is it 1.8MB and therefore too big, or do you need to somehow get it to be 1.8MB 
? If you need to save the photo as a different size file, maybe try Photoshop?</p>
<p>The easiest thing to do would be to import it into a Word file (.doc) and save it there. It should be under 1.8 megs that way. Alternatively, import into Photoshop, save as a low-resolution .jpg, and stick that in a Word file/PDF.</p>
