Upset about my denial

I’m still lingering on my denial from Auburn. I applied in Nov, was deferred to Feb then denied. I sent transcript, 4 recommendations, SAT/ACT scores, letter of continued interest when I was denied, an additional essay, I emailed them numerous times.

I’m from a private all-girls school in Wilmington, DE. I have a 3.4 GPA (but have been receiving 3.6-3.7 soph, junior, and senior year) I had a rough freshman year but I’ve been on an improving incline! I know that Auburn takes into strong consideration SAT scores and I wish I could’ve done better but couldnt they have looked past that?

My counseler told me I was a sure thing at Auburn and I pledged to make it my first choice when I was deferred. Isn’t there anyway I could appeal?

what was your sat or act?

Of course their terrible scores and I took them again and even got sick while taking them. I feel that it shows nothing about academic achievement. I take such a tough courseload and never get anything lower than a B+. Yet, Auburn praises high SAT/ACT scores. I wish they'd look past that.

Another thing that bothered me:
A boy at my brother school (i got to all-girls school, its an all-boys school) was accepted with a 3.0 and a 1050!
Now that's not fair. come on now.

Hey, Im a Bama fan, but so sorry to hear about this. Hang in there. Have you considered going to AUM and transferring to AU? Some folks are just not great at standardized tests. If you want to go to AU, dont give up. They will be eager to have you if you can prove yourself at another school first.

Ha, why would I go to AUM when I got into University of Delaware and so much better schools. That's what bothers me, like UD's requirements are so much higher, yet I got in there? I don't want to go to Auburn that bad to go to some satellite campus. If they don't want me, their loss!

But thanks for the advice:)
