I have a quick ??, for my first 3 semesters in high school i had a mediocre GPA, then I had a paradigm shift, and my grades went up, these are the semesters in order, 3.12, 3.2, 3.12, 3.4, 3.9, 4.0 (last one is an assumption, b/c im still in this semester), will it be bad that I did not always have a stellar GPA, or does this mean that i have a good GPA assuming that I keep it up next year, also if it helps im in the top 10% of my class

An upward trend in grades is something colleges look for - it's good.

TomH:) it is very good!

There are a number of students at my
school who have benefited from upwards trends much like yours
in past years as well as the current one at top 5 USNR schools.

There is also evidence that a downward trend does impact
admitatnce decisions negatively from stats at my public HS.

:)
