UR sent out RD admissions letter last week

Son got acceptance letter in mail today.

Got acceptance letter but no scholarship or aid information. Will it follow or should I call?

I got my acceptance letter just now (along with a request that I apply for portable research grant). Nothing about financial aid for me specifically other than that, but I didn't look through everything yet.

I called the admssions office and they said that the financial sid/merit aid packed should follow in about 10 days.

finally i'm in !

Yes! Received a thick Welcome letter today ... Vermont mail is slower than others. : )

Acceptance package came this afternoon!!!

Hopefully it'll show up in my mailbox tomorrow :[

Congrats to all!! Anyone in California received letter today?

is this the last wave of acceptances?

Son got his today.

Still no response...this feels awful. I thought I was a qualified candidate? Anyone else still waiting?

still waiting. my friend got his yesterday.

My son is still waiting.

I haven't gotten a letter yet either even though everyone in my school has received one. This whole wave system is really bothersome.
Stats: 35 composite ACT, Rank 2/340, etc.

Heard from a person I talked to at UR admissions that the acceptances were completely random, not according to levels of aid. Also, they will be continuing until April 1. So, still hope. :)

Also, if anyone's dual degree, I heard from a fellow Eastman accepted undergrad that he just received his acceptance from U of R, and attached was a handwritten note saying he was the first dual degree applicant to be notified.

So, the wait continues...

I got a letter today! I was very happy to receive it. It was very personal, and it described specific parts of my application, which was so good to see that SOMEONE read it.

Why Me? If your status page shows everything complete you shouldn't worry. But if you can't help but worry, give them a call, they are one of the nicest schools I have dealt with. Calling may put your mind ar ease, but with those stats I'd say you are in with good merit aid! Good luck, feel positive - the wait stinks!

I got mine today! I was so worried because I found out they filed my mid-year report under a different name a couple days ago! lol

Got mine today :)
