UR sent out RD admissions letter last week

wow anti-quark, you're gonna have a nice rec for grad school i see it already
luckyy... i doubt many others if any received such a request so early

Anti-quark, when did you get the scholarship notification? Did it come with your acceptance? My intended major is physics as well.

I got Dean's Scholarship notification yesterday, but no acceptance yet, lol. I think because FinAid still needs my parents Business Supplement. But I'm assuming I'm accepted, so yay! :)

assuming...congrats!

what's the difference between the bausch & lomb scholarship and the dean's scholarship?

does anyone know what the biggest scholarship is besides national merit & the renaissance and genessee?

@ wtreed2 - Thanks!

@ jocool26 - I got 12 g's on merit. Prob not enough for me to go tho =(

The Bausch & Lomb scholarship is sponsored in part by Bausch & Lomb, while the Dean's Scholarship comes directly from University funds.

mr college rep

how many more acceptances will be sent out?

the wait is killing me! I wonder what type of order they sent out finaid/scholarships/acceptances. I live only an hour away and had all my app stuff in my november and fasfa done by 1/3/09

We will get all of our acceptances out by the end of March or on April 1.

Would a possible reason for not receiving a letter yet be that I hadn't gotten my IDOC stuff in until recently?

rochester doesn't have IDOC... does it? aw man...

Wait, I don't think they do. Sorry, didn't really pay attention to where my IDOC was supposed to go.

Anxious for acceptance! I'm trying for the Dual-Degree program and have already been accepted to Eastman, but am awaiting news from Rochester. Funny, because I thought it would be the other way around!

No IDOC for UR. You send your and your parents' tax returns directly to UR to verify your info after you enroll.

What is the Renassaise Schoarlship?

The Renaissance Scholarship is a merit scholarship that covers 100% of the cost of UR's tuition for 4 years.

So it seems that the second wave of decisions should have been sent out today, per a post by a college rep in another thread. Any way of verifying this?

I got an acceptance letter todayyyyyyy!!!!!!
