Frankly, it’s not my problem, but my brother’s; Still, it would tangle my family finance enough to affect me, so I am here to ask for advice…

My brother got in UCSD as a transfer, and was happily about to submit SIR until, well, he found out himself to be in a danger of getting D in his second English class… If he ends up with D, which is, honestly speaking, highly likely…, his admission would get rescinded for not meeting ITGEC(?) requirements.
But, fortunately, his college, CSUF, offers summer session, so if he takes that class over summer, and passes with above D, then would he be fine?

P. S I will urge him to call UCSD right tomorrow to inform that he would likely to get D.

Your brother cannot retake the class in the summer, everything needed to be completed in the Spring. So, yes, your brother has a strong possibility of getting rescinded. Yes, your brother should call UCSD pronto.
