URGENT: Can only my counselor, not recommenders, sign the back of my envelopes?

Hello everyone,

I'm an international student and I'm going to mail my documents to universities in the coming days. I made my counselor seal, stamp and sign the envelopes to certify them but I heard that recommenders should also sign. Can only my counselor sign the envelopes? I don't have time to meet my recommenders and make them sign because i have to mail them immediately since postal mail will take approximately a week to reach the USA. And to make things worse, this has to clash with end-of-year festivities resulting in delays, etc.

Please reply urgently. The documents have to reach USA before 31st december!!

Ideally, your each of your recommenders would have signed the envelope containing his or her letter. However since this stuff has to be in the mail NOW, stop worrying about it and just mail your whole package.

Btw, most colleges require that the envelopes be postmarked my 31st december, not arrive in the US by 31st. That means you can send them on the 31st.

What do you mean by postmarked?

Do not bother to reply people. I found the answer. Thank you very much for your help! XD
