I am applying to MIT regular decision and the deadline is 1st January. I am an international student, so my question is… is the deadline the midnight of 1st January eastern time, or is it 1st January midnight of my local time?

For other universities, CommonApp says this year that its supposed to be 1st january of my local time… what will happen if it I submit application 1st january eastern time?

Also, will MIT accept my application if I send it a couple of hours late?

There is no auto delete coding line for apps sent after the deadline. You’re fine

What if someone sends in the application 3 or 4 days after the deadline? Will the college still consider it? Or will it be an automatic rejection?

i mean, if it’s like our application, you won’t be able to send in an application 3-4 days late; the system won’t permit it. if you can submit an application, technologically, assume that the school is allowing you to do so.
