Columbia's financial aid office number isn't working for some reason...the 212-854-5353 is not working...it goes beep beep beep and stops does NOT WORK!!!!!

FTR, my fax machine is not broken..I successfully sent my docs to other schools tonight already.

BUMpPPPP!P!P!P!P!P!Pp did anyone experience the same problem? It keeps saying it’s busy…

They gave me an alternative number to send faxes to. They’re really backed up now.

Use 212-854-8223

obstinate, that number is busy also… is it because there are a lot of faxes coming in right now or is it because there is something wrong with their system?

A lot of faxes coming in. Just keep trying.

alot alot of faxes coming in
i wonder what so many people are faxing in

Okay, I finally got them through…but now they must have received mine 10+ times… better to have sent them multiple times than to not right?

Uhh, maybe tax forms?

I’m having trouble getting my forms through as well! It’s past midnight and both numbers are still busy. I’ve been trying to get through all day!

Ha, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who waits till last minute. By the way if any of you are wondering if Columbia wants a waiver filed for not submitting the Non-Custodial Profile, they do. They were kind enough to wait until noon today to tell me and I didn’t see anything online marked “Non-Custodial Profile waiver” like Cornell does… Uhg. Luckily, I already had the extra stuff left over from when I filed it for Cornell’s forever back so I had to scramble to get my mom’s signature and get it to the mail on time…

Does anyone know why they don’t have instructions to do this online? I looked several times and finally decided to email them. They sent it too me as a pdf…

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you probably don’t need to worry, this is just for kids with divorced parents, or for those needing the waiver, with a second parent not in the picture.

Biospan…keep trying. I got mine to work after like 20+ times.

If it doesn’t work throughout the night, I would fax it to the admissions office and call tomorrow to explain.
