Urgent (Finance major)

So I’m looking for cheap schools (Prolly ard 25k USD/year? Below 30k will do also. But I’d like it around 25k) but with good reputation in finance major. It’s a little bit urgent to actually find it 'cus I think deadline for falls is damn near for many of the schools rn? And I just didnt realise tht. So hope everyone can help me to look for a school.

International student? State

You have simply not provided enough information for anyone to be able to provide you with helpful information. Check the other threads on this site (like the Chance me threads) to see the level of information needed for posters to be helpful.

@NASA2014 Yes I’m an international student.

Nobody can help without more information.

@lostaccount Just a good school with reputation in finance major but with affordable tuition fee (which is ard 25k USD). Lik if a school tht gets into TOP100 UNIVERSITIES FOR FINANCE MAJOR. I just cant find the TOP LIST FOR FINANCE MAJOR so I’ll only do asking.

We know what you WANT, but what are your stats? Tell us about YOU!

@TomSrOfBoston Only CGPA 3.46. Qualified for UW-Madison, but it’s too expensive.

Here is a ranking of top undergraduate business schools. Although not specific to finance, this list is a good start. You have not provided enough information to give you specific suggestions. Also many application deadlines have already passed and it is very difficult/competitive to get merit aid an an international. I suggest you look at options in your home country as well.

Stanley97, What’s with the cryptic replies? Why start a thread and then refuse to provide the information needed for people to reply? Seems like you are not particularly serious about needing help or you don’t have a good enough command of English to understand what is needed, in which case going to a US school makes no sense anyway.

@lostaccount Clearly state down the informations u need so I know what do you actually need. Neither does it make sense too when you ask people to provide information but without telling them what you need? Like asking a guy to give a speech without a specific topic? So what are the infos tht you actually do need? Clearly state it down.

Test scores are needed - not helpful if schools are suggested you have little hope of being admitted to.

Is your annual budget of $25-30K for everything (books, housing, food, living expenses, transportation, etc.) or just tuition and fees?

Do you have any geographic preference, climate considerations, large vs small school?

If you are international, will you have a car here or will you need a school where public transportation is available to get around?

You won’t get far in the business world with an attitude like this. Just my two cents.

Use the search function to find the Advising Center closest to where you live. The counselors there will be able to help you out.

Are you posting from a cell phone? It would be better for you to post from a computer so you can use a bigger keyboard and so it will be easier for you to check your spelling.

What is your TOEFL score? Have you taken the ACT or SAT?

Stanley97, my suggestion was: “Check the other threads on this site (like the Chance me threads) to see the level of information needed for posters to be helpful.” Do you really need me to cut and paste that material here. If so, my suggestion is to check out community colleges. If you simply don’t know what the Chance Me threads are like, just put that word into search. You’ll find most students provide a) background information including gender, where they are from, etc. b) Academic information including type of school currently enrolled in, grades, type of curriculum taken, etc. c) EC’s and related information, D) scores and noteworthy awards and/or accomplishments, etc.

I agree that you are broadcasting an air of entitlement. My hope is always to be helpful so my goal was to encourage you to provide the kind of information that would help others be helpful to you.

It’s okay guys. Thanks for all the suggestions too. I’ve found all the infos on my own. Thanks guys.
