URGENT Financial Aid deadline passed!

If I still submit the CSS profile, would they still consider it? Any help would be appreciated!

i asked that question too last week. but i was ignored. and i still don't know, but i'm sure it can't hurt to get it in.

I think, although I'm not sure, that if your CSS is late, they put you at the bottom of the pile-so to speak-not great odds that there'll be anything left, but I would still submit it, maybe w/an explanation of why it was late. Doubt I was much help - why don't you call the FAO at one of the schools where you are applying. Good Luck.

Harvard promises to meet the full documented financial need of all students who are accepted. My belief is that you may get your financial aid offer late, but it will come. It's harder to get accepted to Harvard than to get financial aid.

However, you should e-mail or call Harvard to verify my belief about what will happen with your aid if you're accepted.

Thank you so much for the replies!

When was the deadline? I thought it was March 1sh. Crappp..

Oh nevermind, I'm international. PHEW.

Well, I'm applying for finaid and got in early. My finaid officer said that the deadline was "soft" and just to get it in when we had our tax returns. Don't worry too much about it.

Yeah, last year I was ridiculously late, as in I got my financial aid package when I had visited on, oh, April 24th, and I pretty much got the best deal possible. With that said, you should obviously get in your stuff ASAP, but to know that they won't be harsh on you, so yeah...
