<p>I don't know whether or not to be freaked out about this, but when do I need to start applying for housing for schools? I've gotten a couple of flyers from my safety schools about applying for housing, but my other schools haven't sent me back anything yet. Do I go ahead and apply for housing or do I wait to get a letter in the mail?</p>
<p>I know that pretty much all public schools do not guarantee housing for freshmen, so I would start with those. I wouldn't apply to schools where you don't imagine yourself attending, (if you applied for some of those) as they will just take a chunk out of your wallet with app fees and early deposits that are only refundable if you are rejected from the school. So basically, look into those schools that don't guarantee housing, and if you even consider going there, then apply for housing ASAP</p>
