Although I did not submit an Art Supplement as I do not have talent in fine or performing arts, I mistakenly put YES in the question. The admission application (REA) has already been submitted. Will this disqualify me? Is there a way to fix it?

Applicants with extraordinary talent
in the fine or performing arts may
submit supplementary materials for
review. Do you intend to submit an
Art Supplement to Stanford?
Yes (it should be No)

We went through this stress with my daughter. There is no way to change the “yes” answer. She inquired of the admit office, and they said that her application would be considered complete so long as all the required elements (transcript, LOR, etc) were there and they would just proceed without it. She emailed the admissions officer who came to her high school, with her application ID number, etc. and the admissions officer said she’d make a note on my daughters file that application was complete without the arts supplement.

@VSGPeanut101 Thanks for helping! Which college did your daughter applied to? Was it Stanford?

UPDATE: To anyone else who made the same mistake: I emailed Stanford’s admission office and got this email:

Hello,
The Arts Supplement is optional and there I no action required if you have
decided not to submit it.

Best,
