MIT says that it accepts January SAT scores.. Deadline for receivin score is Feb 15, and Jan SAT results are out online on 14 Feb.. What if my scores get delayed..???...

Also.. intl applicants can either take TOEFL n SAT II or SAT I n II... What if an applicant takes TOEFL n SAT..??... Does it hurt the chances in ne wy...??? How is TOEFL compared to SAT..???

Getting your SAT results on the College Board website is not equivalent to having MIT receive the scores. I'm pretty sure College Board mails out your scored tests at least 9 days after you take it (since that is the time you have to change your send-scores-to-schools list).

Sorry, don't know anything about the TOEFL.

Q. I am an international student. Should I take the TOEFL or the SAT?

A. You may take either or both. We will consider the TOEFL or SAT equally without preference. If you submit both, we will use the test that makes you look best.

Q. By when must I take my exams?

A. If you are applying for Early Action, you must complete all of your tests by the November testing date (yes, these scores will reach us on time without rushing). If you are applying for Regular Action, complete your tests by the December testing date. We may accept January tests on a case-by-case basis.

So you should contact the Admissions Office to get permission to send January scores. Generally this is just a formality -- they need to know to expect the scores late. However, RD selection does not begin until around Feb 15 every year, and international selection is after RD selection finishes (often around the first week of March).
