Washington Univ Is To Select 200 Waitlist Spots!!!!!!!

I would question that Wash U already knows how many people they will take off the waiting list. They won’t know the exact number of people accepted who actually plan to attend until the May 1st deadline. That information will tell them how many slots are open and consequently how many students they will be able to accept from the waiting list to reach their target class size.

We wont know that until they have a better idea of how many will accept their offer of admission. Duh.

Keep in mind that 2 years ago (not sure about last year), nobody was taken from the waitlist, and the freshman class was over-enrolled by about 130-150. No guarantees of anything here.

No one talks about the wait list now, many RD already made their deposit.

how do u know that...

It's easy to know by asking accepted people, two from my hometown already made the deposit, one was rejected, one waitlisted, and other two accepted but waiting to hear from other colleges. My cousin was accepted but going to MIT.

wait..im saying how do you know that there are 200 spots open...can u verify that....

Not even WashU knows what that number will be at this point; he is just pulling it out of his ass to taunt all the waitlisted folks.
