did anyone get in? does Princeton contact ppl to enroll at the very last minute when they discovered that some ppl didn't show up when college commences? Has this ever happened at Princeton before? Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks!

does anyone know ANYTHING about this? pls tell me! thanks!

I can safely say that Princeton should have contacted you long ago if you were accepted off the waitlist. I sincerely doubt that they would contact you a week or less before fall classes start to tell you that you were accepted. There wouldn't be time to take department placement exams and housing and all that stuff. I am coming from t a logical perspective not personal experience so I could be wrong, but I doubt that I am. Actually more kids accepted offers of admissions than Princeton had expected working out that their target class size is over by 20 odd individuals.

curiouskid, do you have a backup plan?

thanks for the input Yoshi729. anyway, i actually got waitlisted at Williams but got rejected in late June. But i was thinking, if HYP take in ppl at the last minute, then i might have a chance of getting into WIlliams if places do become available, right?
and oh, i'm heading to Wellesley if things don't work out for Williams ;) BUT i WANT WILLIAMS SO BADLY!!!!

im pretty sure princeton took 0 students off the waitlist this year, the people i know who have been contacted (in previous years) regarding getting off the waitlist were contacted in may
