Dear Anyone,
I am applying early action to MIT on November 1st.
I'm taking another SAT Subject in November, and have already scheduled the Collegeboard to electronically send out ALL of my scores, including my current ones and my November one, on November 23rd.

My question is: Should I send the scores that I already have now? If so, should I send it with rush mailing or regular mailing?

Thanks alot!!!

If you’re having the College Board report your scores automatically after the November test, you can have them report all of your scores. They will arrive in time for MIT to review them.

Hey molliebatmit,

Just to clarify, that means that I don’t have to send my scores before Nov 1st, right?
Because on your other posts that I’ve read, you seem to say that “as long as you send them before November 1st, then you’re good.” In my case, I’ll technically be sending them on November 23rd electronically.

Thanks for the fast response!

I mean that you need to register your intent for the scores to be sent with College Board by November 1 (or as early as possible). So you can take the November test and designate MIT as a recipient at that time, and while the scores won’t actually be sent by College Board until later in the month, that’s fine.

What you can’t do is take the November test, wait until the scores are released to you on November 23, and then decide to send them to MIT. If you don’t send the scores until November 23, they will arrive too late for MIT to use them for EA.

Ok, great.
I requested the Collegeboard to “send scores when available” (Nov 23).

This means that I DO NOT have to send my scores right now, correct?

Sorry for asking so many times, I just want to be 10000% sure.

Thanks!

Correct. MIT says that regular reporting of November scores reaches them in enough time for EA review.
