We are unable to process 2006 applications at this time. We will begin processing first-year and transfer applications in September. Please log back in at that time to submit this application. We appreciate your interest in UVa and your patience.

What is going on? Today is the deadline. I am an RD first year applicant and I am a bit scared.

wow that is scary, i thought they added an extra 8 days to the deadline, but that might just be only mailed applications, good luck..

hmm. It seem's I have missed the deadline. I spent the longest time on both of my fumbled applications. UVa, and U of Chicago.

There's always University of Houston. Go Cougs. -.-

Logan, go ahead and mail it in. I mailed my Georgetown application in a week late with a short explanation and I still got in.

OP might be confused on the deadline. Originally, I thought the deadline was 10 January because that is what was printed on the application instructions. However, on UVA's website, the deadline said 3 January. I went with 3 January.

wow cav, what was ur explanation, if you dont mind me asking.

I just said that I had left the app downstairs in my dad's office and thought it would go out with his mail. In my opinion, a late application is no reason to reject an otherwise qualified applicant. Of course, they've gotta have the deadline, or they'd never finish by april. I also submitted my application to the university of chicago about 3 days late. I submitted it online without any explanation and I was accepted.

That is pretty cavalier of you, but congrats.

I'm sending in the Virginia paper application. Only 7 days late. Ha!

no only 2, the deadline was extended to Jan 8

Oh goodness! Thank you all!

This is looking up.
