Most of the colleges I am applying to use slide room to upload art supplement pieces. However, Colorado College simply asks to past the URL containing your art portfolio. Does this mean I need to make an online portfolio? I only have 10 studio art pieces and was hoping for a more informal supplemental piece to my application, but I am confused about whether or not this means I should be creating a website for my work. Has anyone done the CC art supplement or have any advice?

So, I just looked into this for my son. I looked at the various free art portfolio websites. And I decided that the easiest, cheapest one to do was flickr, believe it or not. You need a yahoo mail account or need to creat a yahoo mail account. Then set up a flickr account. Then upload your portfolio pieces. Check to make sure that your portfolio is displayed how you want it to. The resolution on flickr is much better than on slideroom.

Then you need to test the URL link. Copy and paste the URL from the flickr account to one of your email accounts. Then go to email and click on link to test that it goes to correct place. If this test works, then you can use the URL for your art supplement. All done!

I ended up just submitting it without an arts supplement, but thank you anyways!
