thought i'd start a thread for the class of 2015...i got my acceptance letter a few days ago for EA. I don't know whether I'll attend...who else got in and for sure is going? Stats please!

I went SAT optional but my GPA is about 3.3...I really don't know how I got accepted with it lol, perhaps because of my EC's!

i emailed ursinus asking about an accepted students day, and they emailed me back saying that friday april 1st is capstone admitted students day.

i never visited this school so im excited to visit i applied to 11 schools though so im not sure if ill pick ursinus

In response to awrere, I’m waiting on Princeton, Johns Hopkins, Franklin & Marshall, Lafayette, Swarthmore, Stony Brook, Muhlenberg, and U Sciences. I’m already accepted to Stockton.

To what other schools did everyone else apply? And did anybody hear about scholarships yet? I get a letter in the mail today.

My S has also been accepted. The treatment we received from Ursinus before our visit, during it and afterward has been outstanding. Everyone we have dealt with has seemed legitimately concerned with our needs. We have enjoyed all of this but, like most of you. are awaiting decisions from other schools as well.

i got my scholarship letter yesterday in the mail. i got $13k =/ not too good but not too bad.
hoping to do the overnight stay! who else is staying overnight?

Hi! I got in a couple weeks ago, but I just got my scholarship letter today! I don’t know if I’m definitely going to attend, but I really want to go to the overnight stay, I feel like that’s the best way to really get a feel for a school, and plus it’d be loads of fun :)

You can sign up on the site. Sign up for an overnight then in the extra comments box put capstone April 1st. They might have a button there for capstone because I know they were working on it but still

Did anyone get their financial aid packages yet? I got mine today, and I’m sort of confused…They have two loans listed but with an asterisk next to them that says they’re “federal awards.” What does that mean?

And collegeboard.com says Ursinus meets about 83% of demonstrated need but my package seemed a little on the skimpy side considering my financial situation and the astronomical price of tuition. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I got offer a few days ago too. So excited!!I’m chinese and also wait other schools reply.I think it’s hard to choose a school between big university and LAC.
What’s your opinion?
