I am planning on taking both the U.S. History and Bio subject tests in January. I plan on doing some brief studying through test prep books but probably no more than an hour or so a week up until the Jan. 26 test date.

I was wondering how well people who got an SAT score lower than 2000 did on it.

well, my composite was over 2000, but my single sittings were both under 2000. i got 750 on USH, and 590 on Bio (it was freshman year, i didn't pay attention in bio class...oh well).

My D scored above 2000, but not so much above that it makes much difference. She scored 660 on the BioM SAT II after taking NYS Regents bio as a HS freshman. She took the exam again as a junior after taking a microbiology elective and scored 740. She studied about as much as you are proposing to do, maybe a little less. Her US History score was 770. She didn't study for that one at all but was taking APUSH at the time.

I got above a 2000, but I scored a 660 on BioE in Oct. I took a biology class three years ago and did not study at all until the night before the test.

Last year I took AP Bio exam and found out about SATII Bio when it was too lae to register. It seemed way easier than AP exam, so if you are doing AP Bio exam just register for summer SATII, you already studiet it couple of weeks before
