<p>I’m wondering when the new U.S. News and World Report College rankings come out this summer. Last year it was August 15 or 18 I think. I’m curious to see how BU did. I’m assuming that it moved up from 56th, but I’d be extremely happy to hear it crack the top 50. If BU isn’t top 50 this year, it surely will be next year.</p>
<p>you bet man. i'll chew my hat if BU doesn't make it into the top 50 by next year. i am more concerned about how BU does in the biomedical engineering ranking since that's my major. it's currently placed 10th. but now that it has purchased an $18million life sciences building, i am sure BU will move up to atleast the 8th or 9th place.</p>
<p>How do you find out about the rankings of specific majors? Everyone says their communications is one of the best in the country, but I want to know exactly what it is and what other schools are competitive. I tried to find it online but I couldn't get to it.</p>

<p>BU's graduate program in BME was ranked 9th last year. this year, USNews placed BU at the 7th place in BME grad program.
The undergrad program is currently placed at the 10th position.</p>
<p>What about Ecoinomics? Heard BU was highly ranked. Anyone have the info?</p>
