<p>I guess its need-based and academic because they asked for tax forms and my transcript..Anyone else receive this?</p>

<p>I think a good deal of the finalists get it...its just that your income has to be < 35000 and your GPA has to be verified..All of 2005's finalists from GA received it..so I have a strong hold of hope on this one..Good luck!</p>

<p>My S didn't make the cut. Only 14 from MA...and over 150 from MD???? Seems a little odd.</p>

<p>I was just going to ask the same exact question. The thing that irks me is that different sites have different numbers for the amount of awards. I'm just hoping it's renewable, as all my money is currently being sucked up by my college (first year funds).</p>
<p>It said we would hear by June 30, so we're (im)patiently waiting. LOL!</p>

<p>Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that most semifinalists become finalists and win the scholarship, if all their stuff is legit.</p>
