I applied to the USAFA summer seminar program for 2014. I'm just curious of my chances of getting in. I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA, and a 4.46 GPA weighted. I do loads of JROTC leadership positions and volunteer for National Honor Society. I'm also very active in Model United Nations and Model United States Senate and hold officer positions in both clubs. I'm also an active member of girl scouts since 2nd grade. I play golf at varsity level. I was part of a national junior ski team. I was the captain of the Academic Bowl Team and made it to Washington DC my freshman year. Living overseas, I had to move three times which is what I wrote for my adversity essay. I've been in contact with my ALO officer ever since sophomore year and we are very familiar with each other. I also would like to know how similar the summer seminar applications are to the actual academy applications.

I’m pretty sure you qualify for the USAFA summer seminar application because by the look of things, you look WELL qualified! I signed up for the Summer Seminar this year so hopefully we get to see each other at the same session time. But as far as the actual academy applications, you have to have a lot of meetings and perform a pt test while also going through a screening. My friend told me about it and he’s class of 2017 for USAFA so he told me a lot about it
