I think about 10 sentences. The ALO interveiw went really good, I had a different ALO for admission to 2011. He was not as encouraging.

Well looks like my statement/paragraph will be fine. I don't have an ALO interview but sounds like no one else does either. I really want this dang thing to open so I can apply and hear back soon, I hate waiting...

That's a new one... IIRC, we didn't have to write such a statement for last year's seminar. We had to submit a resume, though.

Yah, that's what he have to do. But, now I guess they make us right a statement of desire on why we want to attend.

I don't remember writing a statement to get into summer seminar, but my memory has gotten a little hazy after jumping through all these application hoops. :) As far as ALO interviews go, everyone (at least in my element) at SS had one at some point. After your application is processed, USAFA contacts the ALO in your region and has them interview you (I think). I got in contact with my ALO before I applied to seminar, just so he could put a face to the name, and we had an official interview the day I applied. I got an acceptance email that night.

Yessss! It's finally open!:D:D

On the application it says resume from after 9th grade (maybe from 9th, don't remember) so does that mean we can only put what we received in the last two years? I really hope not. I was in band and because of that I wouldn't get home till around 6:30 usually which left no time for anything else :/ and we wern't allowed to play sports.

I went ahead and just left everything from 9th on there. Im so happy i finally applied.

I think I should be applying by about tomorrow. CAN'T WAIT!!!

Has anyone recieved word of whether they have been accepted?

JTRW,

See the acceptance thread I started.
