The Heisman quote was an instant classic.

walking back from rosary last night i heard tons of cadets coming back from HAPS making the Heisman pose all the way back. it was quite humurous, especially when they stumbled doing it

(and congrats petko for your senior membership! lol)

dinner together... wow! you guys are close ;)

oh, and then last night at the hockey game, Gen Regni came up to me and a friend and we chatted some more. mostly about the game, but it was still a good little conversation. lol

yeah yeah, well i talked to him this morning!

along with everyone else in 2012....

Ah, today was the annual breakfast at the Supt's house? Nice place... (did you get to shake his huge hands? See what I mean?!)

he's soooo tall. and huge. his place is pretty nice... regni's a cool man! also got to talk to a few 1 stars and colonels. awesome time

and by annual breakfast it was the second annual breakfast. they didn't do that with our class

Didn't realize that. I was under the impression that this had been going on for some time.

it's okay eagle, gen cox and i are tight.
he didn't think i ate enough donuts, and told me so on a couple of occasions. that just proves our closeness. :P

Just curious, but who appoints the AFA superintendent?

EDIT: Nevermind... Premature question! :(

I think it's pretty exciting to be getting a new superintendent. I do wish Gen. Regni wasn't retiring (I mean, the guy literally drove his car onto Spirit Hill for 35 to mess with), but at the same time, it'll be interesting to see how a new commandant and new superintendent handle things here.

and looks likes it official. the current Superintendent of the United States Air Force Academy is LtGen Michael C. Gould

Like I said before, Gen Gould is a GREAT guy! You cadets should consider yoruself lucky to have him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Gould did the same thing with his car. The beauty of this guy, is he has 2 sons that attended the AFA, (I think his youngest grad this yr). SO his perspective is a unique one, he went to AFA asa cadet, was a parent of 2 cadets, and not the man in charge of the cadets. His wife also is an AF reservists, when she was here at the Pent. she worked with the AFA.

Gen Gould has a great sense of humor, just ask Bullet about his pin-on ceremony for LtCol, that he did for him. Also family means everything to him, you are in great hands, and will realize it very soon.
