USC acceptance letters

Ugh... I wasn't expecting anything until late March; now that I know that a packet could be arriving in a few weeks, I'm really anxious.

how was the interview??

Confused!! So…to ‘certify my acceptance’ I just send in the $300.00 enrollment fee? It’s unclear…

Yes, to accept you pay the $300 commitment deposit. You can do it on line on USC’s site with a credit card. Since today is it…if you can’t do it online, I’d call them to assure you have time to mail it in and confirm your intent to matriculate…

do u have to apply for scholarships or just send it in before dec. 1st?

also what does the rejection letter look like lol

Yes - for most scholarship consideration you just have to make sure your application is submitted by Dec 1st. There are, however, some scholarships that you can apply for separately if you qualify…i.e. various Alumni groups, Scion status, etc.

Happily – I can’t answer the rejection letter question for you. . .

that acceptance looks amazing one word WOW, i hope have one of those in my one day

Oh, the letter is beautiful! I’m tearing up just reading it.

That sounds fantastic, but now I’m going to be extra disappointed if I get a letter that says anything but that.
(Unless it says that I’ve been admitted in different words.)
And I won’t have a certificate! So sad.

What does a rejection look like? Is the envelope thinner than the acceptance envelope?

The acceptance letter comes in a large envelope with a welcome folder.

This is an old thread. The times when letters are sent has changed, amounts of scholarships are much higher, and the admission process is much more selective than in 2007.

Last year SC had more seniors apply than any other U.S. private university.
