Hello,
I am a business admin. transfer student to USC. I am thinking of applying to Leventhal once I complete BUAD280(acctg1) & BUAD281(acctg2) or BUAD305x(abridged) on site.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone can tell me the rigor of those classes above and accounting classes in general at USC. How hard is it to switch to accounting (B average)?

As a business transfer student you will have taken financial/managerial accounting as a transfer pre-req at your current school. You then take BUAD 305 your first semester as a transfer student and as long as you get a B then you can sign a form and officially switch your major to accounting. Accounting as a major does involve a lot of work, especially in the form of group projects and presentations. BUAD 305 involves a large semester long presentation project so you can get a good idea of the rigor simply from that class but the rigor of material and amount of work does increase from there progressively.
