<p>So I know this debate has been going on forever but I have been admitted to both and seriously struggling between which one too choose. I intend to major Journalism, by the way. Thing is, if I had been admitted into CAS in NYU this decision would be simple. However, I've been admitted to LSP (liberal studies program). I know the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in USC is highly reputable but can't help but want to go to NYU, even if it is for this seemingly useless LSP program. Ultimately I graudate from NYU with a BA in Journalism, right? What to do...</p>

<p>Overall, I say USC because there you will have a great network and also Annenberg is a really good school. Also, If financial aid is a factor, USC is definitely the better choice.</p>
<p>Yeah, I’m starting to think that too even though letting go of the prospect of living in NYC is hard

<p>I understand the appeal to living in NYC, but since I live in L.A. (don the street from USC, I have track practice there), I really think that USC and L.A. have a lot to offer. Though the city scene won’t be as exciting as NYC, there is ALWAYS something going on on campus at USC. My friends who go there, are always talking about how they have to choose between 2 fun events.</p>

<p>I definitely see where you are coming from. Even if it isn’t as vibrant a city as New York, it’s still a city! I was hoping to go somewhere cold for a change (I live in the tropics)… But ultimately I guess Annenberg and the academics there really are stellar. I still have to hear back from a couple of schools but I think it’s going to be down to these two.</p>

<p>Hi just curious on what you chose, I am struggling between NYU (where i was also admitted for LSP) and then the Broadcast Journalism major at USC. I love both schools, and NYU would be perfect if I weren’t stuck in the core program because I am ready to start working on my Journalism major now! I love NYU for the excitement of the city but I know you can’t go wrong with USC. It’s just that I’m from Southern California and the adventure of going back east is exciting. Ultimately, I just want the best choice for my major combined with an exciting college life. </p>
