<p>Hope I have the right forum, I'm a transfer student applying to several UC's for Fall 2015 entry. I also want to apply to USC but I can't seem to find a straight answer on when to apply, for Fall 2015 acceptance. What is the window for application? Also, do I have to have the 30 units completed upon application, or upon acceptance? For instance, UC's require 60 units by Spring 2015, but the application opens in November, at which time I will only have around 45. How does USC work in this manner? Thanks!</p>
<p>@fullload Since I know a few people who have transferred to USC as sophomores, it’s 30 units completed upon acceptance. However, it’s best to wait until you have more units to be more competitive. With your 45 units, I think you’ll be fine. </p>
<p>Thanks, but what I mean is, when I submit, do those 30+ need to already have been done, or can some be in progress? In the UC application, you can have the remaining needed units “In Progress”. Meaning I could apply in November, but have 20+ units listed as in progress or planning to take at CC still in Winter and Spring. Make sense? So when I apply to USC, do I need those 30+ completed, or can some be in progress, or planned for Winter and Spring. Hope that makes sense.</p>
