my interview is next week (wednesday to be exact) and a bunch of people who've already had theirs told me that it was hard! like they asked things such as: "name a current problem in the medical world and describe how you would solve it."

anyone have advice? i think a lot of nervous interviewees would find this very useful!

to the both of you, don't worry! don't get stressed out.
1. 3 person panel- one faculty, staff and student, not as scary as it sounds!
it's more of a personal interview where they try to get to know you as a person outside of your essays, applications, and letters. the itnerviews are not meant to scare you guys! I know these interviews are important, but definitely not something that you guys should over stress about.
the questions they ask you are just questions, don't worry if you don't give them a "right" answer because there is no "right" answer for these questions just your opinions and how you feel!
hopefully I'll meet you guys at your interviews!

(ps. i am a current bmd student, who interviewed last year)

Hi, I'm currently a Bacc/MD senior and I may be doing interviews so I'm not going to spill too much, but it is SO important to let your personality shine through and not give cookie-cutter answers like "I want to be a doctor because i like helping people and i love volunteering because I am helping people." Do your research on current healthcare topics and have an opinion on world issues. Don't blow off the interview because you won't realize until you visit just how much you want to come here.

yeah i totally echo that.
i never realized how much i wanted it until i walked away from my interviews.
it's definitely important but don't freak yourselves out!
