i was getting my hopes up too quickly. guess everyone has it

@Sullivan7 I am from Hawaii.

@jgregory oh well obviously your mail will take longer. People in IL have gotten letters but i don’t know of anyone else around me getting them like IN, KY, or TN so i was thinking maybe its a midwest no mail thing

let’s try not to worry about this (albeit difficult) and have a good rest tonight. good luck with decisions for the rest of us! may the odds be ever in our favour :-)

Hawaii - nothing today… also have the withdraw app tab?

Does anybody that got a rejection letter have this tab?

Does anybody that got a rejection letter have this tab?

Did anyone else receive an application decision notification in their application status check? The letter says I am accepted, but decisions don’t go up until morning? Is this a sick joke?! Or s this actually real?

Decision JUST POSTED on USCONNECT

Decisions are posted online now. It’s the exact same as the letters included in my acceptance packet received today.

Son (International-India) got offered admission. Daughter went to USC. Fight On!

Does anyone have a link to the Facebook group?

Just saw my rejection letter online. I can’t believe I didn’t get in… I can’t think of anymore I could’ve done besides a bit stronger test scores. I am Hispanic, 1st in my class with a 4.0, and have been named valedictorian. I got a 29 on my ACT. I am student body president, was junior class president last year, Vice President of national honor society, secretary/treasurer of a community service organization, editor of the yearbook, and treasurer of Business Professionals of America where I have won multiple state and national awards. I have a part-time job, tons of community service hours, and have taken the most demanding AP and Honors courses that my school has to offer. I believe I had very strong essays and amazing letters of recommendation. Can anybody help me understand this?

@Bacapal test scores

@rgosula A 29 is still in the 93rd percentile though?

rejected. ■■■. time to write my appeal.

@bacapal More AP classes maybe? You didn’t mention how many you took. Also a higher ACT would’ve made you a shoo in. 29 is not very competitive at a university with a 17% acceptance rate. I would say 32 at least. 17% is really low tho so it’s a crapshoot. Good luck. You’ll be fine wherever you end up.

P.S. I got rejected too. Going to Berkeley now. Go Bears!

you know what, though im still extremely depressed about this i was rejected so i might as well just deal with it. It’ll probably be better to just get my prerequisites finished at ASU Barrett for cheaper then transfer to usc in two years. i got accepted to pepperdine though but it would be a waste of 70k/year just for my general ed

Suprisingly rejected @ USC w/ 34 ACT, 4.0 GPA 800 SAT Bio M and 800 SAT Math 2. Lol I’m so confused, but oh well wouldn’t have attended anyway because it’s way too expensive. Got Bioengineering @ UIUC, only wanted USC because it’s warm in Cali haha

@cantooo Thanks for the input! I will have completed four AP courses by the end of the year because that’s all my high school offers. I tried 5 five times to get that 29 so I really don’t think I could go up anymore if I tried. I got rejected from Berkeley, USC, and UCLA though! Congrats on Berkeley for you!
