During my interview the woman seemed very impressed with my stats and said “they definitely will help you” which is pretty encouraging right? @outlawsrcool I also got the thank you letter. Anyone else get the Dramatic Arts Open House pamphlet thing? I’m so nervous guys…USC is my last big hope!
Also, just out of curiosity how much do you think high school plays into this? In terms of the type of school. Like, I auditioned for Theater BFA and BA (alternate), but my resume isn’t professional and headshot isn’t either because my school is literally the size of a bean with the financial support to barely buy new books. Do you think this almost “underdog” type status could help or hurt me? I don’t know anymore!!! I just want to find out! I love reading all of these comments and i really wish all of us the best of luck and hope we all get big envelopes/packages very soon!
I thought I had an okay shot at USC, until my first semester grades were sent. I messed those up badly, getting 2 C’s. I never got a C before senior year, so I know I pretty much ruined my chances. I got accepted to UC Davis, waitlisted at UCSD, and rejected from UCLA. Unless my interview (which went really well) saves me, I know I’m going to get a thin white envelope soon 
@zburg45 HAHA no pressure, right?? Most of my family is from Los angeles and all of their living rooms are decorated with Trojan football memorabilia. I’m visiting as I type this and no one will stop taking pictures with me with all the Trojan stuff because I will be the first person in my family to attend college— AND it might be USC! No pressure at all. Haha. Ha. :-"
@ManhattanSubway Did you get the dramatic arts open house thing? cause nobody i know has received it except for the “save the date” one. Plus no, i doth think that will play much into that. It’s good to have a professional headshot and resume but they probably won’t pay much attention. Plus I’m represented by a professional agent and have been in various non professional and professional productions and was still rejected from UCLA

Yep, as predicted they will go out tomorrow rather than Wed. They always send on a Tuesday!

They will being arriving Wed, portal will update Friday (Thursday night) just after midnight. There are usually a couple local students that get theirs on Tuesday, I think they hand deliver a couple to get the party started.
@CADREAMIN really? They’ve been saying on Twitter a lot that they’re sending on the 23rd. Are you sure it’s tomorrow?
Cause they have done this for the last 5 years. Say it is Wed and do it Tuesday, they cushion a day for technical issues I suppose. I have been following closely in last 5 years, been there done that with my own students. They said they are stuffing the mailing boxes already on their facebook page - that is the easy part, they will go tomorrow.

@yingyang1998 omg, that’s exactly my situation. Rejected from UCLA and UCSD, along with Davis, BU, and Tulane lol. If I don’t get into USC or other reaches then I’m headed to SDSU as well. It’s an awesome school but I’m just infatuated with SC.

Georgia Girl is always dialed in and has been on here way longer than me, so go with her and plan on Wednesday, then just be surprised if it is a day early.
I am just going on history - they say Wednesday, but they have ALWAYS been sent on Tuesday and they are already stuffing mailing boxes…we will see but either way it is soon! Notice they changed the online post day from Saturday to Friday…hint hint hint…
I’ve never really posted in these but I’m wayyy too antsy to hold this dread/anticipation by myself. None of my friends are applying to USC so they don’t know how I feel, but it’s my dream school and at the top of the list. However, I have next to no chance of getting in because the major I’m applying to (Interactive Media Game Development) is rumored to have a 2% acceptance rate, with only 15 people getting accepted last year. Furthermore, its the #1 game design program in America so I’ll be competing with thousands of people from all around the world… I’m slowly driving myself insane. Good vibes right now guys, good luck to you all and I hope all you beautiful people get in.
