Updates to portals take time. Happens over a couple to few hours. Some updates for rejections are posted. They are likely trying to get everything up by 5pm
@happinessconquersall possible but very unlikely, and I say that as someone in the same boat
@justanotherstudent2023 And what would I get by lying? At least one more person said that decision was posted and it was a rejection. So as I said at the beginning of my post, maybe rejections are posted first.

I’m in SoCal and I haven’t received anything besides the message on the portal. Is it safe to assume I haven’t been accepted? 
Yeah I’m sorry I jumped to the conclusion because I’ve had a ton of people lie in different threads. I’m just very emotional right now because I’ve already been rejected so many places I wanted to go. This process has just destroyed my self confidence and happiness
@ambeu8 That might be true. From my Naviance (with over 500 data points of those who applied to USC), many were either rejected or accepted. If USC has a waitlist at all, it would most likely be very small.
USC does, however, have spring admit and the Trojan Transfer Program.

Were updates posted one by one or all at the same time? If the former, then more rejection updates can be expected
Fairly certain that the status updates (the actual letter, not the small note) have been for internationals only thus far, extrapolating the data from here and Reddit.
