Son got in. Good but not super high stats but incredibly well rounded and tons of leadership, Eagle Scout plus Varsity athlete and NHS etc.
Pretty shocked, but proud of him. He worked hard
We are in Illinois.
He was a 33 ACT 34 Super Score, 1480 SAT
4.4 GPA with 7 APs (though our school does not do as any APs as most schools)

just asking, but we’re not supposed to send a LOCI right. in their letter it says “please do not submit a statement of continued interest beyond the EA Deferral Form.”

Deferred, my child has 4.0 unweighted/
4.6 GPA, took college courses (19 credits), 35 ACT, worked a job, founded a school club, president of Model UN club at her school as well, went to State championships for her sport. NMF pending.
Disappointing to say the least to not get in, and received an annoying letter awhile back from Admissions and FA office saying they were “delighted and excited” by her interest in USC and looked forward to working with us (addressed to parents). Pretty insensitive to do that!
We know now she goes into regular decision pile but not holding our breath, will need to move on.
