<p>I was just reading about this program on USC's website today, and it said incoming freshmen have to be invited to the Viterbi honors program and cannot apply. I do not recall getting invited to this program. Has anyone been invited this year? I thought I would be invited because I was awarded the presidential scholarship.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure I remember Dean Yates saying at the engineering presentation for my ExploreUSC that if we were invited for the Trustee/Presidential interviews, then we were automatically enrolled in the honors program. However, I could be wrong.</p>

<p>DS is a freshman engineering student and Presidential Scholar. I don’t believe he is in the Viterbi Honors program. I know he didn’t receive an invitation and don’t remember hearing about it at our Explore USC.</p>
<p>My son got a letter in the mail today letting him know that he made it into the Honors Program.</p>
