USC GE Requirement Question

Hi all!

I'm going to be a freshman at SDSU this coming fall, and I already know I want to transfer out of there.

My question is, how are we supposed to fulfill all of the GE transfer requirements, are we even supposed to? (Can we use high school credit to fulfill our GE transfer requirements?)

I'm going to apply to Marshall, and I already have my business calc and writ 130 equivalent registered as classes.

Thank you so much, it would be very helpful if someone helped me figure this out.

GE requirements at USC aren’t designed to be finished in the 1st two years; they’re spread out over all 4 years to allow the students flexibility. You don’t need to have all your GE’s done, but you need to make sure all/most of your units transfer. Also, different majors have different GE requirements (GE 3 is waived for science & eng. majors, for example), so you might wanna look into the ones required for yours. You can bring in a maximum of 32 units in combined AP/IB credits. For AP, you need a min. score of 4. For IB, you need a 5.
